THE ALMOST ENQUIRED PAGE…
I know full well I’m making it incredibly hard for you to enquire. For that I don’t apologise. I only take a specific amount of weddings per year and so I need to ensure that the couples enquiring are absolutely the right ones for me, and I’m the right person for them. So please read this little recap list incase you’ve missed anything. This is the last chance before you definitely enquire….
1: I don’t do discounts, I wish I could but I can’t. My toddler swallows food like a bin truck so I need all the money I can to feed him. Please shop around and compare prices to get a feel for the “industry standard pricing” Unfortunately the industry is not regulated therefore anybody can charge anything, so please please compare.
2: My prices are on my website as clear as day broken down from hourly to full day. Please make sure you’ve seen these before you enquire. You will shop around and you’ll see a lot of variation in pricing amongst photographers. So why am I priced where I am? Simply put, I’ve been shooting weddings for 16 years, I pride myself on the balancing act of capturing your day whilst allowing you to have a good experience. I feel my pricing is fair, keeps me busy enough to stay happy and happy enough to live the life I want.
3: My films are hybrid films. That means anywhere between of 5-15 minutes depending on the coverage. The camera is switching between photos and film constantly recording short 10 second snippets never continually. I may not be able to record speeches on a highlight film when doing both photo and film due to logistics and timings but this is something we will talk about on your zoom call. My reasoning for this is explained on the film page. You absolutely need to understand and accept this before enquiring.If speeches and ceremony are an important part of your coverage then please hire a professionally dedicated videographer. I can point you in the direction of several.
4: I do not give out RAW photos - ever*. If my editing style isn’t for you, please look elsewhere.
*If you are a professional photographer yourself then this can be discussed.
5: I enjoy working with couples who love social media as much as me. If you don’t like the idea of potentially appearing on my instagram or website then I may not be the photographer for you. That said, I don’t always post every wedding, especially during summer months. If there’s a special reason that some people cannot be online (armed services, adoption or fostering) then please notify me.
6: Pre shoots for full day wedding are not deductible… I WANNA meet ya!….. see FAQ’s

7: A successful photo is never just about the camera. It comes from you, self confidence and self love. For the love of god, please stop taking selfies in the run up to your wedding. Get to grips with how you look in reality otherwise you’ll hate your photos and I’ll get the blame and I ain’t got time for that drama. Take it from somebody who did just this after her wedding and my husband who will not for one second entertain one of my ‘pity parties’ told me straight. THAT’S WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE JO, GET OVER YOURSELF. Ouch. But so true.
